I had the privilege of doing one of my favorite couples newborn shoot.  Their prenatal shoot came out so good, I couldn't wait for them to have the baby so I could do another with them!  I must say, they had one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen.  He is just perfect!

Kathryn's Prenatal / New Hampshire Portrait Photographer

I enjoy shooting Kathryn and her husband James so much!  They are such a great couple!  I really felt like her sweet angelic looks were a great contrast to his manly thing he has going on.  A really great looking pair!  

He owns a bike shop in Salem NH, so they brought a bike with them to take photos with.  I thought this was such a fun idea.  We really did have a blast on this shoot!

Baby Matthew / Massachusetts Portrait Photographer

My friend, Alexis, had her second son July 2nd, 2012.  He was named Matthew William.  I drove all the way down from Londonderry, NH to Worcester MA, just to meet the cute little bugger, and he didn't disappoint!  He was such a cutie!  He was awake the whole time, so instead of doing "boutique" looking shots, I opted for more natural with mom.  I'm actually tending to like the more natural now, anyways.  I guess now that I have been doing this for a bit I am finding my own style.  While I took pictures, my daughter Isabella played with Alexis' son, Gary.  Everyone had a good time and a nice visit.  At the end I was even able to grab a cute photo of baby Gary in his birthday suit playing with the water in their claw foot tub.  I think it might become one of my favorites! : )

Smith kids are the cutest!!

It's not often that I get pictures of all the Smith Family cousins together, but this past June, with a little help from my mother in law, we made it happen!  My oldest, Jake, (black shirt,) just adores his cousins, Aidan and Dylan, (teal shirts)!  Lila, (striped dress,) still thinks both their names are Aidan.  Dylan and little Isabella cant get enough of Aidan.  I took them out one afternoon to a small park in Londonderry to get some shots of all of them together.  Aidan and Dylan live in Augusta ME, so it's not often that I can coordinate a shoot with them.  I think these pictures came out great, though I will tell you it wasn't easy.  None of them were cooperative!  Good thing they are cute! : )

New England Civic Ballet shoot / New Hampshire Portrait Photographer

Sorry for the delay in posts.  I have been so busy with kids, summer and reading that I have fallen way behind!

This shoot was from one of the hottest weeks in June.  These girls and myself sweated our butts off getting these shots, but it was well worth it!  I usually don't get to play around a lot with dramatics in Photoshop, but this shoot allowed for just that.  I really had a lot of fun with these girls, and hope to do it again soon!

Summer Reading

I figured since I am way behind on my blog I would share one of the reasons.. My Kindle Fire!!!  I started with a friend suggesting I read 50 shades of Gray for a book club and I got hooked on reading, again!  Here are some of the books I have read this summer.  Please don't judge me on my Twilight obsession.  I avoided it like the plague when it first came out because it was so blown up.  After reading and loving 50 Shades I found out that the author started out as a Twilight fan fiction writer.  I became curious and started the series.  Don't judge until you read at least the first book.  Even my mother is hooked.

In addition to these books I also read quite a bit of Twilight fan fiction.  I found a website that has the best of the best in my opinion of in canon Twilight fan fiction.  http://canontwilight.com/
